Kolab is a Groupware Solution for Emails, Appointments, Contacts and more. It supports mixed client environments (Outlook/KDE) because of an open storage format. Any email client speaking standard protocols can be served. For the full Kolab experience you need a Kolab Server and Kolab Clients. What makes the Kolab Concept outstanding is the focus on scalability, proven components and protocols. The implementations offered by us are Free Software (Open Source). Kolab was created for the needs of the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) by contract in 2002-2004 and is used there in a heterogenous environment. The 4th bugfix release of the 2.3 series fixes some severe bugs like the
broken ActiveSync configuration in the Kolab webadmin or a compile error in
the Cyrus IMAPd package and includes another fix for the range header DoS
vulnerability in the Apache webserver. Users are strongly encouraged to
upgrade their Kolab installations.

important security fixes in core components like the Apache HTTPD server, PHP

This is the second bugfix release for the Kolab 2.3 series. Most fixes are in
the Free/Busy stack and the automatic resource handling. The update to postfix
2.8 brings a lot of new features like postscreen and multi-instance support,
however none of them is enabled by default to allow smooth upgrades. The
ActiveSync configuration introduced in Kolab 2.3.1 has slightly been reworked
and Z-push 1.5.3 makes synchronization with mobile devices more reliable.

Kolab Systems started a new cycle of
Kontact on Windows packaging and stabilization which will allow everyone
to get an early taste of the new Kolab Enterprise 5 Client on Windows.
The work on this is ongoing and currently the Package should only be used
for testing. Check out the
wiki page for details and information on where to get the latest versions.

With 2.3.1 the first bugfix release for the Kolab 2.3 series has been released.
This release fixes more than 10 bugs, most of them in the kolab-webadmin package
and the z-push stack. Synchronization with mobile devices now works more reliable.
In addition a preview of the new ActiveSync configuration was added to the webadmin.

In addition to the Z-Push synchronization for mobile devices that was already
showcased in the Alpha version, the 2.3.0 final release introduces new
enhancements like the possibility to have multiple accounts with the same
name, modular packaging of the webclient and a reworked webadmin plus updates
and bugfixes for many core components.
